Living in Elliot Springs

Development Update

 Elliot Springs April Development Update

Information provided below is current at June 2021.

Elliot Springs continues to grow! There are more than 45 homes under construction throughout the Whites Creek and Aspect addresses and we continue to love welcoming new residents into this beautiful community.

More than just houses, the Elliot Springs community has genuine heart and soul with many meeting in and around Wadda Mooli Park to walk their dogs, let children play and to take in some exercise before the sun goes down.

As always, if you'd like to know more about anything included in this update, feel free to contact us on [email protected] or call us on 1800 881 091.

Whites Creek update

Whites Creek stages 1, 2 & 3 are coming to life with many homes already under construction. Street trees have been planted and the remaining landscaping will be planted in the coming weeks.

Works continue in stages 4 & 5. The road pavement is now down and land now registered.

Works are now underway in stages 6 & 7 with further clearing, excavation and site earthworks occurring this month.

Petrol station set to open July 2021

The petrol station is the first of many conveniences for Elliot Springs residents and works are close to completion.

The acoustic fence is in and the final internal and external fit out works are underway. We anticipated the station works will be complete in June with opening slated for July.

Beyond fuel and convenience offerings, a future fast food outlet will be located next to the petrol station.

Community Landscaping

Landscaping works continue around the existing stages in Aspect and Wadda Mooli Park. New planting, mulch, general garden maintenance and repairs are giving the area a winter facelift.

Oak Valley Offset Site Revegetation

As part of the Elliot Springs Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation approval, a 29ha offset site was selected at Oak Valley.

Over the past year there have been works to upgrade the site including native grass and tree revegetation, erosion control, fire management and removal of invasive weeds.

During these works, James Cook University has also been engaged to study the location of the Black-throated Finch around Townsville and North Queensland. This vital research will provide important data to assist with the long-term survival of this threatened species.
