Elliot Springs – Whites Creek Stages 37 to 40
Construction continues on our latest land release, Whites Creek Stages 37 to 40, which consists of 51 residential lots ranging in size from 418sqm to 1850sqm .
BMD Urban is well into the construction of the stages with the sewer and stormwater works completed and the road base down with the asphalt prime to be completed in the next few weeks.
The works are scheduled for completion later this year.
Water Reservoir Construction
The Elliot Springs water reservoir is nearing completion and is getting closer to commissioning. All major works are now complete.
The final testing of the pipeline is currently being undertaken and planning is underway with Townsville City Council for the filling and commissioning of the tank in October 2024.
This new infrastructure will provide critical water security for Elliot Springs and the surrounding community.
Bindal Ridge Trail reopening
On completion of the water reservoir works the Bindal Ridge trail will reopen. The entry to the trail is an asphalt road surface that will take you past the reservoir and up to the track. The track was tested with the Bindal Ridge Fun Run in early September. Some minor restoration works may be required on completion of the reservoir which may require temporary closures or deviations.
