Meet Rachel, Kings Central’s Sales and Customer Service guru

For most people, purchasing a home is one of the biggest investments they’ll make in their lifetime.

It makes sense then that buyers want to deal with someone who is not only well versed in real estate, but has a level of customer service that is second to none.

For Kings Central buyers, they get all of that and more when they reach out to Rachel Hamilton – the project’s dedicated Sales and Customer Service Coordinator.

Rachel has an impressive career within the real estate sector, which came from a lifelong passion for property and helping people.

“From the age of seven, I used to go regularly with my parents to display villages,” Rachel said.

“During these visits, I would collect all the brochures and on the way home I would draw over the designs, changing them to what I believed would be a better design outcome. I used to also tell our local real estate agent that one day I would own one of his franchises.”

True to her word, Rachel left school at 16 to pursue her dream of working at a real estate agency – Dougmal Real Estate. She worked in the property management department before moving to Bevans Real Estate agency in Gerringong, taking on new experiences like holiday rentals before taking time off to raise her children.

“When I started to have children, I took a short break from real estate and then saw an opportunity to work at Lendlease for the Bingara Gorge project,” she said.

“I am proud to be a part of the exciting projects Lendlease deliver and the learning experiences it provides me.”

Rachel worked on the Bingara Gorge project for several years before being offered the Sales and Customer Service role at a brand new Lendlease Community in Illawarra called Calderwood Valley. Beginning on the project during its launch in 2016, Rachel still works on this project alongside Kings Central and two other Lendlease projects – Jordan Springs and Figtree Hill.

We sat down with Rachel and asked her some rapid-fire questions so our Kings Central community can get to know her a little better!

  1. What does a typical work day look like for you?

“My average day consists of helping a diverse range of customer and stakeholder enquiries - from first initial enquiries, enquiries from existing purchasers or residents who already live in our communities. I engage with a range of builders on a regular basis to ensure that we have all the latest news on designs and build prices. I am generally the one person that will see our customers through their purchasing journey, from deposit/purchase right through to them living in the community.”

  1. What is your favourite part of your role?

“Buying land or a home is one of the biggest decisions our customers will make in their life. Whatever the circumstances are, each customer has their own unique story to tell which I get to be a part of this journey. It excites me when I walk around the communities and see the family homes come to life, bumping into them in the streets or at a community event. It’s a special ongoing relationship that I get to have with our customers.”

  1. What do you love about the emerging community at Kings Central, the suburb of Werrington and the greater Western Sydney region?

“Kings Central has it all, it really is the ‘new’ West. The thing I love about Kings Central is that it is more of a neighbourhood community, which means it’s going to have a very strong community spirit. I hear stories of friends and families that already have strong connections moving into this area together. Kings Central is well connected, it really will have everything you want and need on your very own doorstep.”

  1. What are you looking forward to at Kings Central in 2023?

“Homes are already underway and this year we should be able to welcome our very first residents!”
