Kings Central’s Visit Your Lot and Meet Your Neighbour event
More than 450 future residents and their families came together to bring the Kings Central community to life at our recent Visit Your Lot and Meet Your Neighbour event.
The family fun day saw future residents bonding over sips of coffee, good food and laughter as they met their future neighbours – giving each person a real glimpse into the lifestyle they’ll enjoy when Kings Central becomes their home.
With plenty of activities for the kids including roving entertainers, face painting, craft packs and balloon animals as well as live music echoing tunes the event, the day was a great success for all.
Future residents and their loved ones also had the chance to take a tour through the neighbourhood, visiting their lots that will lay the foundations for their homes, and the spaces that are being transformed into parks. Such a wonderful community bonding experience!
The day also saw local community groups and organisations supporting the event, including Inclusive Housing Australia, Thorndale Foundation and the St Clair's Men's Shed, as well as Deputy Premier of NSW, MP for Londonderry Prue Car.
It’s safe to say that our residents who attended the event walked away with a real sense of connection to their future community, and an excitement about what lies ahead at Kings Central!
With construction on Stages 2 and 3 in the final stages, the Kings Central community is continuing to grow, with the first residents expected to move in soon. Upon completion, Kings Central will be home to more than 1,000 residents, with approximately 300 homes.
