Kings Central ticks all the boxes for first home buyer Jocell

Jocell Miranda never expected that an online advertisement would lead her to building her very first home.

Like most of us, Jocell was mindlessly scrolling on Facebook when she saw an advertisement for house and land packages at Kings Central that caught her attention.  

“This ad on Facebook popped up in May last year... we weren’t actually looking to buy a house but I decided to enquire anyway,” Jocell said.

“The location was perfect and close to everything. It’s very convenient that Kings Central is within walking distance to the Werrington Train Station, as well as schools, a university and the shops all being close by. I also love the ambience in the western suburbs of Sydney, I try and go there every weekend.”

Currently living in Sydney’s inner west with her husband and daughter, the young family were chasing a tree change that would allow her to be closer to other friends and family who live near Kings Central.

“There’s always kangaroos and animals to see and we just don’t have that in the inner west,” she said.

Once Jocell and her husband, Jeff, had signed a sales contract, they couldn’t wait to tell all their family and friends and recommend the neighbourhood to others.

After sharing their purchasing journey with childhood friends of hers, couple Paola and Johnrey, they too jumped at the chance to purchase a home within the Kings Central community.

“Paola and Johnrey are childhood friends from back in the Philippines... I knew they were also looking for a house and land package and when they heard that we had purchased at Kings Central, they were very keen to have a look as well,” Jocell said.

“I saw an email about a limited release at Kings Central and I immediately told them and they took the opportunity.”

Paola and Johnrey have two children aged six and one and are looking forward to raising them alongside Jocell and Jeff’s daughter in Kings Central.

As first-home buyers, Jocell said Lendlease and Eden Brae Homes, their builder of choice, have made the building process very easy.

“Purchasing a turnkey package with Eden Brae Homes has made the process as a first home buyer so much easier,” Jocell said.

“We didn’t know all the processes behind building a home but they have made it so much easier. The Lendlease team have also been very helpful, they’re really supportive and approachable.”

As a passionate photographer, Jocell has been documenting the build process of her family home and is looking forward to capturing more happy memories once her family has moved into the neighbourhood.

The young family are excited to move into Kings Central in 2023.
