Introducing The Colonial Hotel – your new local

The Colonial Hotel has become an iconic institution among Werrington locals, serving up delicious meals and a pub-friendly atmosphere for more than 80 years.

Run by the Vlandis Group since 1994, The Colonial Hotel is the place for family and friends to come together and celebrate life’s milestones – whether it be birthdays, anniversaries, graduation dinners and more.

Open seven days a week, The Colonial Hotel serves up an eclectic mix of Modern Australian cuisine and boasts large banquet style seating and communal tables to ensure there is room for everyone to call in, have a meal and catch up with loved ones.

Donna Anderson, the Hotel’s Licensee said that the venue caters for all demographics and occasions.

“The Colonial Hotel is designed for all ages and families,” she said.

“We have a kids play area if you wanted a family dinner out, we do cocktails if you want a girls’ night out, there are live bands every Friday, karaoke every Saturday, and poker and pool competitions.

“We also do themed trivia every second Tuesday, meat raffles every Thursday and Friday and raffles for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter and Christmas.”

While there is something on the menu for everyone, Donna said The Colonial Hotel are well known for four of their tasty dishes.

“We are definitely known for our pizzas, and our best sellers would be our chicken schnitzel, lamb souvlaki and chicken supreme.”

For those on a budget, the Hotel also offers up $10 breakfasts on Sundays, and $15 lunch specials any day of the week.

If you want to check out what all the fuss is about, The Colonial Hotel kitchen is open every day for lunch from 11am – 3pm, and dinner from 5pm - 9pm. The venue is also home to a Sports Bar, VIP Bar, TAB and Bottle Shop, and has a courtesy bus that runs every day from 4pm (excluding public holidays).
