Construction gains momentum on Kings Central’s first ever park

In a major milestone for our growing community, construction on Kings Central’s very first park is well underway!

An extension of residents’ backyard, the park, is conveniently located at the front of the Kings Central neighbourhood, on the corner of Spinifex Road and Cargo Street.

Set over 1.2 hectares, the park will be home to a swing, trampoline, slide, climbing structure and learn-to-ride bike area for our community’s little ones.

For older children and adults, getting in your daily dose of exercise will be made easier with onsite fitness equipment and a grassed kickabout area.

Once complete, the vision for this park is to become a place where residents celebrate life’s milestones, with sheltered picnic tables offering the perfect spot for children’s birthday parties or a casual Sunday picnic with neighbours.

Development Project Manager John Taylor said the park has been thoughtfully planned out to ensure it is a safe and welcoming space for every member of the Kings Central community.

“This park has been designed with each type of resident in mind,” he said.

“Whether you’re a family with little ones in tow, first home buyers who want a space to work up a sweat or retirees looking for a green space to catch up with friends, this park truly has something for everyone.”
