School’s out for Summer

The school bell rang for the last time of 2022, as Jordan Springs children jump for joy – ready for the summer holiday season.

To avoid the dreaded choir of children saying, “I’m bored,” we’ve compiled our list of boredom busters, to ensure parents get a break as much as the kids.

Get your skates on and roll into summer at Penrith Skatel- Roller Skating:

Rolling fun for the whole family, the indoor roller rink is ideal for both roller and blade skaters. School holiday sessions take place from Monday to Friday 10am-2pm. To book visit: https://www.penrithskatel.com/

Make a splash this summer

As the weather warms up, Ripples Leisure Centre Penrith offers the perfect oasis to cool off and keep the kids entertained. While there, why not book the kids into the series off school holiday activities. Taking place every day over Summer, the program includes activities, games, craft, cooking and so much more.

The program runs Monday to Friday from 9am-12pm, starting from Monday 9 January.

Ripples also holds intensive learn to swim classes during the school holidays. To learn more about the Centre’s facilities and opening times, visit: https://www.ripplesnsw.com.au/relax-play/children-s-activities/school-holiday-programs.

Get arty and ignite your imaginations

Ignite your imagination and get your creative juices flowing by experimenting with different art techniques and materials along with the guidance of skilled instructors. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are supplied too, so all you have to do is to wear old clothes and bring a snack – meaning it’s the perfect activity for both parents and children to enjoy.
