How to Pamper mum in Penrith this Mother’s Day

Let’s face it – mums are like superheroes, so it can be difficult to express our gratitude for all they have done for us.

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we’ve taken the hard work out of spoiling mum by coming up with a few ideas to make her feel special.

With a variety of options, there’s something for every mum and every budget!

1. Spoil her with flowers from West Flowers

As far as Mother’s Day gifts go, you can’t go wrong with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Gifting flowers is a thoughtful and simple gesture that can convey a heartfelt message without being too extravagant or expensive. A small bouquet or even a single rose can show the mum or motherly figure in your life just how much they mean to you, and it is a great way to say "thank you" or "I love you" on Mother's Day.

If you’re in search of a great florist, thankfully you won’t need to go too far. You’ll find the talented West Flowers florist located at the Jordan Springs Shopping Centre on Water Gum Drive. The shop is conveniently located across from Woolworths, meaning you can duck in to grab a last-minute card or box of chocolates when you collect your Mother’s Day bouquet.

2. Plant a tree in her honour

Here’s a present mum won’t forget anytime soon – a tree planted in her honour! The Penrith City Council is allowing residents to come down to Harold Coor Oval between 8:30am and 12:00pm to plant a tree for their mum, mother figure, grandmother or aunt.

The best part? This activity is FREE, meaning you can spoil mum with something that is truly special without breaking the bank. All you need to do is register your participants and timeslot here.

3. Treat mum this Mother’s Day at your local – the Brooks Jordan Springs

If your mum would prefer a nice meal rather than presents, Brooks Jordan Springs has you covered. This Mother’s Day, treat mum to a glass of sparkling on arrival and enjoy food specials, activities for the kids and more!

Be sure to book a table here for lunch or dinner to avoid missing out on a reservation.

4. Attend the ‘Love Mum’ festival at the Hawkesbury Showground

For something a little more out of the box, why not attend the ‘Love Mum’ festival at the Hawkesbury Showground on Saturday, 13 May? Bring her along for a fun day out, with pampering stations, live music and photo opportunities in styled areas of the pavilion. With food and boutique retail stalls also available to purchase from, it’ll be easy to spoil mum with something she really wants!

You’ll find the ‘Love Mum’ festival at 40 Racecourse Road, Clarendon between 2pm and 7pm.
