Works to begin on Calderwood Valley’s new vibrant Village Centre shopping precinct in 2023

Plans have been approved for an exciting new Village Centre for the Calderwood Valley community, which will be the first shopping precinct for our growing neighbourhood, providing modern conveniences and amenities for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The Calderwood Valley Village Centre will be the destination to tick off your entire shopping list, with a range of retail options for food, fashion, and everything in-between, bringing all your daily needs to one convenient location.

Designed by BN Group, this state-of-the-art $50 million neighbourhood centre will feature a full-line Woolworths supermarket, childcare centre, gym facility, swim school, medical & allied health services and veterinary clinic. The centre will also feature a fantastic outdoor dining precinct and twenty specialty tenants including a bakery, butcher, and cafes, ensuring residents have an array of options right on their doorstep.

Construction is set to commence in the first quarter of 2023 and is expected to take 15 months, with completion estimated for mid-2024.

The centre will be located just off the Illawarra highway on the corner of Escarpment Drive and Connection Road, and directly opposite the newly completed Laundy’s Tavern, creating a central and vibrant, connected hub for the community.

Parking will be plentiful with 284 parking spaces including electric vehicle charging stations for use. 

Developer Revelop’s Managing Director Charbel Hazzouri said, “the village will be home to the best in each category of retailer, so our residents know they will always have it first and have it best.”
