Whether you enjoy a cracking feast, meet up with friends, or want to catch the big game, the Plough & Ale Inn is the perfect destination for residents to gather, form connections and socialise with their neighbours.

Complementing the vibrant and growing community at Calderwood Valley, the $20 million venue showcases a local village-style charm with a stylish interior that reflects the area’s history combined with an infectious modern outlook for our bright new suburb.

Featuring a family-friendly modern restaurant and bar, outdoor dining areas with sweeping views of the lake, multiple function spaces, a gaming room and a children’s playground, the venue can seat up to 480 guests and has plenty of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Group executive chef Jamie Gannon has curated a modern menu using only the freshest ingredients, with delicious and hearty meals and an extensive beer, wine, and cocktails list to tickle every taste and preference.

A string of regular and one-off community-focused entertainment and events will be on offer for locals to add to their social calendars.

Upcoming events include the Melbourne Cup on November 1- at $40 a ticket, the Plough & Ale will treat attendees to the winner platter, a complimentary glass of Veuve on arrival, drinks and food, acoustic music, and the best view of the race itself on the MEGA screen.

Weekly regular events include Vinyl Friday’s and Saturday Social evenings featuring Illawarra’s best DJ’s from 8-11pm.

Live acoustic music from the best local talent is on every Sunday afternoon from 2-5pm.
