Six year old golf prodigy perfects swing at Bingara Gorge

Bingara Gorge Golf Prodigy

At just six years old, Bingara Gorge resident Joey Eason, is headed to the US Kids Golf World Championships in America.

The Lendlease community of Bingara Gorge, in Sydney’s Sourthern foothills, is known for its active lifestyle with one young resident in particular leading the charge.  The Eason family has taken full advantage of the champion golf course, hitting the ball three and four times a week, and it’s paid off!

Joey Eason is on the course almost daily to perfect his game of golf with a dream to play professionally in the US one day.  At only six years of age, he’s won two Sydney local tour championships, a NSW Open for under-6s, and placed sixth in the US Kids Golf Australian Open in the under-7s division to score himself a spot in the US Kids Golf World Championships.

Joey is creating an attraction for himself on the course as well as in front of the camera.  Kerri-Anne Kennerley, from Today Tonight, recently visited the young golfer to get a few tips on her swing and hear more about his amazing journey.  Click here to watch the interview from Bingara.

Bingara is a unique, 72 par course, designed by Australian Golf Course Architect Graham Marsh. To find out more about the Bingara Gorge Golf Course, visit bingaraliving.com.au/golf/
