What Is A Building Envelope Plan?
How close to your boundary are you allowed to build your new home in Blakes Crossing? That’s what the Building Envelope Plan is designed to tell you.
Every lot in the Blakes Crossing community has a designated Building Envelope Plan which has been included within your Contact of Sale. This specifies how far the ground floor of your new home must be set back from all the boundaries of your property as well as any additional information and requirements relating to your block e.g. special requirements, double storey requirements, build to boundary and driveway location.
When you are seeking Design Approval for your build, your plans must comply with the setback requirements of the Building Envelope Plan, so it is important to keep this in mind when you are selecting the home that suits you.
In Blakes Crossing only one dwelling is allowed to be built on each lot unless you have purchased a specific “Medium Density” or “Gallery” site, or Lendlease in its absolute discretion approves in writing otherwise.
