Calderwood Valley is a masterplanned community by Lendlease. The intended community has been carefully designed to reflect the rich local heritage and character, providing future families with a relaxed, contemporary Australian lifestyle.

Nestled at the base of the iconic Illawarra escarpment, Calderwood Valley will be designed in harmony with the rolling hills and tree-lined creeks, celebrating the region’s natural beauty and open space. It will sit within the broader Illawarra region with a strong sense of connection to Albion Park.

Upon completion Calderwood Valley will feature brand new facilities for both residents and the local community to enjoy. Schools, playgrounds, sporting fields, a community centre, shops, cafes, restaurants and business facilities are all being considered for the future Calderwood community.

Calderwood Valley is a $3 billion masterplanned urban community located approximately 20 minutes south of Wollongong (approximately 90 minutes south of Sydney) in the Illawarra Region of New South Wales. It forms part of the broader Calderwood Urban Development Project which has been earmarked for future development in the Illawarra Urban Development Program and in the Illawarra Regional Strategy.

Calderwood Valley will be a masterplanned community that features a diverse range of quality housing options. Surrounded by the dramatic Illawarra escarpment and is approximately 20km away from the pristine beaches of the Illawarra coast, it is anticipated that construction will commence in 2015 and will be developed over the next 20 plus years.

The 700 hectare site when completed will provide approximately 5,000 homes for an estimated 12,500 residents. More than 20 hectares of the site is dedicated to retail, community, education, mixed-use and employment uses.
