Building A New Life

The Place to be outdoors

Upon completion over a quarter of Atherstone will be devoted to open space. This includes a 100 hectare regional park, extensive hike and bike trails and over 8 hectares of waterways and wetlands for the community to enjoy. At the heart of the Atherstone community is a proposed full size oval, pavilion and car park. The Bridge Road Sports Precinct will be home to an athletics’ track, hockey pitches and tennis courts, with the first stage to open in 2016.

The Place to be close to it all

Atherstone is planning two primary schools to meet the needs of the growing community. Both schools will be adjacent to open space areas and access will be easy through a network of well connected roads, shared footpaths and cycling tracks. A proposed childcare facility also forms part of the vision, so your family can grow with Atherstone. The planned Atherstone Town Centre will make you feel like you are at the centre of everything, with easy access to every day needs. It is proposed that the area will provide for a range of new services and facilities including supermarkets, retail and specialty shops, civic buildings and commercial offices.
