You are invited to the Alkimos Beach Display Village Grand Opening!

Time: 1pm – 5pm
Location: Corner of Graceful Boulevard and Painted Parkway, Alkimos Beach WA 6038


Come and join us for a free family fun day out at Alkimos Beach, and help us celebrate the opening of our new Sales & Information Centre, featuring a viewing deck overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean, plus the launch of Perth’s newest display homes by some of WA’s best builders!

There are plenty of fun activities for everyone, including:

  • Sausage sizzles
  • Fairy floss & ice cream
  • Stilt Walkers
  • Workshops
  • A “pirate ship” jumping castle for the little ones
  • Jump on a smoothie pedal bikes to get some workout and enjoy a delicious smoothie afterwards
  • A variety of wildlife to be on display for the public to view/hold.
  • Take a tour of our beautiful community with free and regular tram services, and see yourself on what it looks like living in Alkimos Beach.

  • Worm Farm (1.00 – 1.30pm)
    We start the day off with a fun (and messy!) interactive workshop for the kids, learning why worms are so important!

  • Build Smart (1.40 – 2.00pm)
    Looking to build your dream home? Learn important building tips from WA's well-recognised sustainability expert, David Beyer.

  • Battery Storage Trial (2.05 – 2.25pm)
    Learn how Alkimos Beach's Community Energy Storage project can help you save money. Presented by Syndergy.

  • Build Smart (2.30pm – 2.50pm)
    Looking to build your dream home? Learn important building tips from WA's well-recognised sustainability expert, David Beyer.

  • A future for our feathered friends (3.00pm – 3.20pm)
    A great presentation from Kaarakin about the protected Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo, and what we can do to protect this special species.

  • Build Smart (3.30pm – 3.50pm)
    Looking to build your dream home? Learn important building tips from WA's well-recognised sustainability expert, David Beyer.

  • Food Theatre (4.00pm – 5.00pm)
    We will finish the day with some tasty delights from our friends at The Forever Project. Get tips on how to grow your own food and improve your soils from The Garden Gurus presenter Chris Ferreira, and learn the secret of how to make authentic bush tuckers with celebrity chef Stuart Laws, including:
    • - Saltbush Togarashi spiced kangaroo, Kakadu plum relish
    • - Pepperberry pork dumplings, lemon myrtle coconut reduction, Red centre lime
