Alkimos Beach Primary School

A State school centrally located within the Alkimos Beach community, on the Leatherback Boulevard, Alkimos Beach Primary School caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6 with highly developed engaging and dynamic learning programs. St James’ Anglican School

St James’ Anglican School is a co-educational day school situated on 10 hectares of land on the corner of Marmion Avenue and Graceful Boulevard. The School caters for Kindergarten to Year 8, with Year 9 classes staring in 2018. By 2021, St James’ Anglican School will offer all year levels from Kindergarten to Year 12. At full enrolment, the School will cater for approximately 1100 students. Butler Primary School is about four minutes' drive from Alkimos Beach and Brighton Catholic Primary School is about eight minutes away.

Butler College is the nearest State Secondary School, and is about nine minutes drive. Irene McCormack Catholic School is seven minutes away. A Central Alkimos Secondary College, located on Marmion Avenue, just one kilometre away from Alkimos Beach has also been proposed by the state government.


Early Learning

The Gateway activity centre at Alkimos Beach is planned to include a 90-place child care and early learning centre (kindergarten). The centre is expected to open by 2017.
